hell i was wondering in the state of ga can my gi bill be used as income for determining child support bc i dont get that money i use it to pay for college and if yes/or no can you tell me the reasons why and where you found that information please i posted a similar question to this and no one answered i hope they will today

The GI bill is not a source of income, it is considered assistance. If the funds given to you are strictly for schooling, you are safe. If the funds are for living expenses while you go to school, you will likely have to report them. The laws will most likely vary between jurisdictions, so you will need to call your child support office to be sure. The child support agency works for the state, not the parent, so you will get accurate information from them.

Don't know about GA but in WA it is because it's still considered income.
