Its simple, open your browser and in the tools menu, you should see that alternative.
On Internet explorer 6: Tools>Options (or preferences, I can't remember)
On IE 7: Tools>Delete Browsing History
Firefox & Opera: Tools>Clear private data

Go into the preferneces and its usually under advanced or a security tab. Should be a button to clear the cookies (if not, should be a show cookies button and in THAT window the clear cookies)

o. its not dumb. lol. just right click on Internet explorer and click properties or Internet properties. then click clear cookies. and just a tip, if u want your computer to be even faster, go to disk cleanup(start>all programs>accessories>system tools> disk cleanup) then when its finished, select all of the files then click OK. then all of those files will be deleted, leaving more disk space. the only thing is that it will delete files like, your pswds and user-names being saved to computer and information, its also helpful for your ticket buying so the prices wont get higher.

Ok, if you're using IE 7, which most people do then you can do it a few ways, here is one.
Go to control panel, internet options.
On the general page, choose browsing history, delete all.
You can also go to C:\document and settings\USERNAME and delete from there.
You can also go to IE, tools, internet options and delete from there.
If you download and install Firefox, you can have it set to delete all that stuff (cookie, history, temporary internet files) when you close Firefox. It is also a less vulnerable browser than IE.

Just download a free program like cleanup or ccleaner. They will both not only clean your cookies, but they will also clean all the other temp junk left on your pc from daily use.
