If you have a gym membership it would be a good idea to get a personal trainer for a few weeks - this works out good because they can get your measurments and goals and teach you a good routine to use. After your final session you'll be on your own but you'll have a routine. People usually check back in w/ their trainer once they stop seeing results or want to change things up. Good luck.

everyone is always going to have their own way of doing things when it comes to work outs. the important thing is that you try them all and see what works best for you. because everyone's body is different, different training will work better for you than for someone else. it also depends on what your goals are because different ways of training are geared towards different goals as well. so hang on to those magazines and every couple months try a different way of training to see what works for you.

working out is one thing..you will need to pour down your throat some "protien junk" too! go to a health food store, they have some stuff that comes in a bag and looks like dog food. Add this to your work out, and then, you will get the required results you want...lol...
