I love the first outfit! It is so so adorable! The long black shirt w/ the dark wash jeans and the black ballet flats w/ the elastic strap. Plus the pink hearts on the black shirt set off the outfit completely. The first outfit is definately the one for your family party.

The first one is more appealing to me. It befits an 18 year old girl. It is casual and comfortable to wear. The ballet flats is one of the latest trends on shoes aside from the peep-toe heels.
I think the outfit will also look good on a peep-toe heels.
Since the top and the denim are dark colored, match them with a light colored accessories and bag to brighten up your look.

I like the first outfit, but the jeans would look better if they were skinny jeans.

Personally i think those are the ugliest outfits i have ever seen.That's probably because you live in the UK.Check out Wet Seal,Forever 21,and Delia's there stuff is uber cute!
