I asked this before and got a few answers and tried them all with no luck. I have 2 young HYPER kids and I have no energy. I have tried over the counter meds, energy drinks, getting enough rest, the dr even gave me a prescription for provigal, 5 hour energy, everything I can think of. I dont want to spend a lot of money on some meds, people where giving me websites but they had meds for extremely expensive. I've tried monster etc. Has anyone else out there used any energy drink or med or something that really worked. Everything I have tried has not had any good affect on me and nothing gave me more energy. Thanks for any useful suggestions

I don't know if this is the kind of answer you were looking for, but I have been practicing Reiki for almost 1 year now, and it feels great. Reiki is an oriental practice that teaches how you can deliver energy to yourself (and others) through your hands. It is quite simple, really: just laying down for 36 minutes, listening to some really relaxing music (or not, as you prefer) and changing the place where your hands lay every 3 minutes. I wake up half an hour earlier and do it in the morning, and at the end of the day I feel a lot less stressed out, with more energy. I try doing it every day, but whenever I don't do it for a few days in a row, I find myself more and more tired at the end of the day.
If you want to try it you should find an initiation course near where you live. I don't know how much that costs where you live, but it costed me around 150 dolares. And it was money well spent, since now I am able to get the benefit of it for a lifetime!

Whatever the solution you find, good luck solving your problem.

I think that you should try other methods to regain energy as opposed to energy drinks or pills. Believe it or not, exercising can give you more energy. Try walking for a half hour each day. Incorporate some yoga into your daily routine. This is a very helpful website:

It has many helpful resources and yoga tips. I also suggest signing up for a yoga class at a local gym or yoga studio. I think that you will find yourself feeling 100% better after you start exercising and being active on a regular basis.

You are currently slingshotting your body into exhaustion with too much caffeine and stimulation. What your body likely needs are higher quality sleep and higher quality nutritional support. I'm a mother of five, so I know the exhaustion you speak of--but frankly, caffeine drinks and such only make the problem worse and taken long term, they can cause serious side effects.

I recommend re-evaluation of your diet/exercise regime and nutritionals first off. Are you taking vitamins and other suppliments at all? If not, you should be! The average American diet (even the "healthy pyramid) is nutritionally poor these days because our food is so processed. So get started on a high powered, women's stress formula multi-vitamin along with a strong dose of BComplex. Also, Dong Quai (known as Women's Ginseng) is also great for the female system as a toner. As well, your calcium, magnesium & zinc intake are tied together and if deficient, will also cause fatigue.

As well, with multiple kids, its also likely your body's hormone cycles have shifted some and you might need some evening primrose capsules daily to help even that out and iron the week before and week of your mensus to help even out that additional fatigue that comes with your period.

In addition, you should consider meditation, yoga, tai chi or some other activity that you do for yourself and ONLY yourself. Often when Moms don't take enough time for themselves, fatigue will show up as a way to get you to take some "quality time" for yourself. Meditation is great for mental training, agility and learning to wind your day up for the demands of the day and wind it back down again prior to sleep. Email me directly if you've never done them and I'll share some basic ones that helped me alot. Yoga or Tai Chi are also good because you can either do them at home or away if you need time to yourself and the tone mind, body and personal energy so that you're not dealing with up and down jags all the time.

I hope these help! Good luck!

How does imminence come into manifestation? By being observed. (You shouldn't particularly take any notice of what I say though. I might be observing different stuff.) EDIT. Thanks, DazMaz, for your kind words. I suppose what I was trying to put over, in my flippant way, is that we can costruct different realities from the raw essence of imminence. Fire walking, bi-location and stigmata for example. It is interesting to note that the great founders of the new physics were, while not religious, certainly mystical. Another edit. (having just read Shaka's) Yes, this was a brilliant question. I must admit that I was not surprised that people didn't see that it was metaphysical. It's just good that some did. And I agree with Shaka that it's an honour to be considered as one of the boys.

Try taking a food-based multi vitamin like Nutrilite Double X. It costs less than $2.50 a day. It takes about ten days to really notice the effects. Top athletes including Asafa Powell (world's fastest man) use it. You can get more information about it at www.jewel.mychoices.biz

I notice, after I run, I get energy like a child. The other day I ran/powerwalked 2 miles. I came home and I chased the kids around.

To make it short, try exercise.

Energy comes from food, exercise and the proper balance of rest and nutrients. They all need to be in the proper balance for our bodies to benefit from them. Too much food and not enough exercise makes us feel tired and sluggish. Too much exercise and not enough of the right foods and rest makes us feel weak and tired. Our body needs at least 7 ours of uninterrupted sleep a night as an adult. Seratonin is the strength hormone for the body. It is what makes our muscles work properly and it is only created in deep uninterrupted sleep. They call that 'level 5 sleep stage'. If we do not get those 7 to 8 hours of level 5 stage sleep, we will be tired, achy, irritable, sluggish, etc because we are lacking in Seratonin. Also another factor can be a lack of iron in our blood. Iron poor blood can make us weak as well. Our bodies do not store iron nor does it store vitamin c. Both of these are key nutrients to a healthy lifestyle. If you are not getting the proper amount, you will definitely notice it in your activity and general health. There are a lot of vitamins out there but the key to getting them into our system is the problem. Most of the marketed ones are made in such a way that they are really no good after they are manufactured or they are made so that they aren't even water soluable and won't dissolve in our system before they just pass on through. Be sure that you are getting a good water soluable vitamin and mineral supplement as well as the proper amount of iron daily. If you are not gettingit in your food source, then take some all natural ones. Of course it will take a few months before your body really shows the difference on those. In the mean time, be sure you are eating plenty of protein daily. Too much carbs or fats can make you sluggish for sure. Suger and caffine will definitely hype up your metabolism but the quick high is so short lived that the extreme low afterwards isn't worth it. You will actually feel more tired after they wear off in a short while than you did before you took them so omit caffine and sugar from your diet as much as possible. Protein is what gives us energy that lasts so be sure you are getting at least 3 portions of it daily. Water also plays a big part on energy. Our body is 97% water. Our brain is 85% water. We need water to live. Water is a major part of our energy source. Water is used even to create energy to run the entire planet on and it runs our energy level too. Most people only get a small part of their proper water intake daily. The proper amount any body needs to really function right is to drink half of your weight in ounces of water daily. Also, the body looks at water as pure water for its needs 'only if' it is taken all by itself. When you drink water with any other food source in it like lemon or tea, etc, the body will process that as food and not as water so it will still look for water and feel deprived from it because you really drank food and not water. Your water source intake needs to be straight from the tap with no additives. Also, we need sodium to function properly too. Most people think that sodium causes high blood pressure so don't use it. The problem with that is that they are eating sodium more than they are drinking the water. If you are not drinking that amount of water then you definitely should not eat the sodium. Rule of thumb is to consume 1/4 tsp for every quart of water you intake. Think about going into the hospital. What is the very first thing they do to you when you arrive? Sitck a needle in your arm and hook you up to an IV of Normal Saline. What is in that? The right combination of water and sodium that you need to function and restore your body back to health with. That is all that is in that bag.... water and salt. So take your proper water and salt intake before you end up in the hospital and you won't end up there. The human body is made to be a working machine. But, it is made to do that work with the proper nutrients. It takes energy to make energy. You cannot get energy out of a bottle. You cannot get energy from a drink. You get energy by creating it inside of you. The proper balance of water, nutrients, sleep and exercise will make you feel well and get strong and give you all the energy you need. That is the way our body was designed so if you do not have enough energy then I suggest you reevaluate your diet, exercise, sleep, nutrient and water situations and make some changes. If you do that and after a few weeks to a month you still do not feel any change, then seek medical attention to make sure you do not have a problem like a thyroid or diabetic situation which can both give you the same lack of energy.
