Hi,
There are some things I would never invite and trouble is one of them! If Trouble gatecrashes into my life I wouldn't send it a thank you card otherwise that would only encourage Trouble to show up again. And Trouble might bring his family or his friends. I've had enough trouble in my life uninvited without inviting the rest of Trouble's family!!!!! Sorry but Trouble has been crossed off my xmas card list! These next few months I'm inviting peace, joy, love and happiness into my life. You get an invite too as I don't think you're related to Trouble!!! So, just keep on asking questions!

Trouble doesn't adhere to the rules of etiquette. If I invite trouble, it usually shows up with some uninvited guess: shame and regret. It never leaves when the event's over, stays long past its welcome. And is down right rude.
So do I imitate Trouble and not send a thank you, being rude myself? Or perhaps in humility, following the rules, by sending the thank you note along, perchance I can remove Trouble from the guest list next time around, eh?

If the trouble shows up on my invitation, I make it a point to thank it for taking the trouble to come. I have to be very soft and sweet lest it should brew some more. "Thank you dear for obeying me so promptly. You have really taught me a good lesson. I am much the wiser now all because of you. Good Bye". And hope it will leave me just as promptly but I guess it is really really difficult to get rid of it completely. Once invited, it does leave a trail and can find our address without help...again and again.

I wouldn't really have to invite trouble, it just shows up by itself.
So I wouldn't send it a thank you card.
Lots of trouble has showed up in the last 2 weeks and I said no thanks but it is still here.
Helping family members move, auto repairs, hospital and doctor bills, and now powder post beetles in a house I am trying to sell.

Yeah, I invite it and send it thank you cards... Trouble can be very interesting, instructive and sure and hell is not boring.
Trouble in moderation, like all things in moderation, adds a lot of zest to a life. Otherwise I'd never live up to my High School's motto 'Vita Vitalis' .. a life worthwhile.
Peace

When I invite trouble on purpose I always send it a thankyou card and a box of chocolates but if I didn't invite it on purpose it gets a kick out the door.
Feck off trolls for thumb-downing my polite opinion!

I was over at a place of a female friend of mine who had just gotten a kitten that was a few months old...she named it Trouble.. and she didn't know if it was a male or female... so I volunteered to check out her kitty to find out what gender it was. So she brought the kitten over, and, like a true veterinarian [which I am not], I felt immediately that it were a male...I double checked to absolutely not be mistaken. Trouble
has not been the same ever since.

Of course not flutter why would I do that..but since it was my fault that I invited the trouble in I cried and I wrote down my pain to get through it and I asked myself why oh why did I invite the trouble in and hopefully with honesty and truth and facing the reality of ut as painful as it can be I move on so trouble can leave my house ...not to be seen again :)))
