Ram Setu is a natural structure but used by shri Ram and his Vanar sena.
Record says that before 500 years there was a way through sea to Srilanka.Any one can cross the sea without a boat.
Ram made this way by repairing and filling it by stones.

The researchers have found a sbmerged bridge between Sri Lanka and South India. And conclude it must be 1,750,000 years old. As per plate theory Sri Lanka was linked to India. If that be true, man could have easily built it. Later it must have beendrawn inside the sea.
The period coincdes with the yuga of Lord Rama.He was an incarnation of God.So it was God;s bridge. But English men who captured Ceylon earlier named it as Adm's Bridge.
The bridge(sethu) is very ancient and venerable indeed. But the urge to carry India towards its destiny around 2020 impels us
to pray lord to help us remove it to facilitate
navigation between Sri Lanka and India.
It is a question to be honestly answered by every Indian:" Which should be our guiding factor in the 21st century - 'religious sentiments ' or 'Coperation with Govt. to make citizens life easy and comfortable'?

History says Ram made the sethu
Government says sethu is only a myth.
I guess the people at the helm of affairs should get their act together and spare a thought for Ram.

Does it make any difference? It is a belief and faith of millions of people around the world that it was built by Sri Rama and his companions to reach Sri Lanka, and it is there. No one can question such beliefs on the existence of so many ancient relics venerated by followers of other religions too.
