actually a store here in washington called rave sells little cotton shorts that look just like boys boxer briefs!

It depends on the brand. If you don't want anyone to know they're made for men, make sure the brand is not a male-only designer. also if they have a little pouch or pocket in the front, that will sort of give it away.
