Stress, lovely girl... stress. The menstrual cycle is extremely sensative to stress. So if you were due and went through a stressful time, your body simply decided it needed those blood resources and didn't give it up that month. No worries! :) If you're not sexually active yet, then you have no other reasons to worry. Its normal for the first 3-5 yrs of mensus to take a few turns now and then, so don't worry yourself to death. If it doesn't show up again normally, then have your Mom take you to see your Gyn. If that ends up being the case, you might just need a little help getting your hormones balanced.
Good luck!

A lot of times, when you've first started your period, and especially being so young, your periods tend to be irregular. Which means that sometimes, you may go three-four months without having your period. It doesn't automatically mean that you're pregnant. It just takes a while for your body to regulate itself. Most young girls experience irregular periods until they're about 17 or 18 years old, and then they tend to become more regular. It's nothing to worry about. If they're still irregular by the time you're around 18, you may want to think about getting put on the pill to help regulate things.

It may take a year or more for your body to get in a "regular cycle" or you may have irregular periods for your entire menstration time.
Diet, exercise, stress, as well as a hormone imbalance could be the cause for your irregular cycle as well.
You might want to talk to your mom about it. Most doctor don't get to concern about missed periods unless it has been 6 months and some doctors even go and have you wait a year.

Ok you are very young to have regular cycles.
You have till you are 18 years old for your period to regulate, this is due to your hormones balancing, till they find they´re balance you will have irregularities, and at your age they are common and normal.
If this doesn´t stops when you´re 18 you can go to a gyn and he will precribe you bc pills to regulate your periods. The best time to take bc pills is when you´re young, it is more dangerous to take them as you are older.
Good luck! ;D

At your age it is not at all uncommon to have irregular periods. Just keep a sanitary napkin and a clean pair of panties in your purse at all times so you are ready when it does come.

Why don't you ask your mom? You should be on good terms with your mom, making the question something normal to discuss with her.
