my current roommate moved in in March and only paid a portion of the rent and promised to pay me the rest by the end of that month, but ever since then i've had to nag her to pay me back in small portions and she still fails to do so, she kept on making excuses and prolonging the time. we're on a yearly contract and share utilities, she seem to be able to pay rent and utilities on time,, our names is on all the bills.

i'm so frustrated and annoyed and now i'm having issue paying my own bills =(

any suggestions? i don't know what to do but i'm so fed up with it and i don't want to be stuck in this situation anymore.. she owes me more than $100.... HELP~

maybe ask the landlord to help you evict her.
But check your lease first to see if you had the right to sub-lease in the first place. If you are prohibited to sub-lease then you may not want to notify the landlord. Under those circumstances, you may want to fight fire with fire, which is do the same thing she's doing - if she doesn't pay then you don't also.

You need to have a talk with her and give her an ultimatum. If she does not start paying you the bills on time, you will ask her to move out within two weeks. This is going to be a little tricky since the lease is in both of your names, but perhaps she will move voluntarily. It is worth a shot.
