There are instances where suing is understandable and legit. The loss of life or property. Defamation of characte, et cetera.

i believe this all started in the 90's when a person spilled their mcdonalds coffee on them then sued the restaurant chain. This is not a new occurrance it's just the progression of the 90's sue mentality.

yes. People are looking for anyway to make easy money. There are certain instances to sue but suing over a tree dropping leaves on your lawn is just silly.

Reminds me of a woman at my old office who sued a restaurant because there was a bug in her food. She claimed she had recurring nightmares and emotional distress from the situation and could never eat out again. Total BS, as well all know.
Chick was awarded like ten grand! Can you believe that crap!?!

poeple want to make a quick buck at other people's expense.
the truth is if a lawyer or a judge was truly stand up honest. they would laugh at these ridiculous lawsuit and tell the people to take a hike.
that's what I would do.

There are some people out there who will do anything to get money. If you breathe wrong they will try to make you pay for it. I think it's ridiculous.
