can anyone remember the name of the two old ladies who solved crimes, they were like comedy thrillers and i think american. films were made 1960ish to 1970ish. please help.

Cagney and Lacey were not old ladies, they were female cops , the 2 old dears were the Snoop sisters, Helen Hayes and Mildred Natwick .
