Acid rain is caused by air pollution, not water pollution You have this mixed up If you want to do acid rain, google it so you know what causes it You wont learn anything just making guesses BTW acid rain could ad to water pollution but it mainly falls on the ground and takes time to travel to the waterways

acid rain affects some regions more strongly then it does others, this is due to the fact that some areas are buffered from the effects of acid rain, such as the midwestern u.s.(due to all the limestone), the northeastern and southern united states are not so buffered because their soils have no limestone to protect the environment from the corrosiveness of the acid. so basically it depends on where you are talking about.
