I'm just curious to know if there really are any REAL psychologists that browse the mental health section and try to help people?

Don't get me wrong, I think it's fantastic that people can share their experiences to help others who might be in a similar situation. I was just curious if any psychs actually sit on this site with the mission to help someone without being paid for it.

Yes, I am... and I have seen a few others on this site also... not many, though. I have seen several students (grad school) on YA as well.

Only had classes in college. Why would somebody that is making $100.00 an hour up to $500.00 an hour and beyond be surfing the yahoo answers??? I kind of doubt it. There are the counslers and social workers that are under paid, but they have huge work loads and again, I doubt it.
