Nah, people are responsible, wise, and loving creatures that always act in the best interests of themselves and others. They rarely act impulsivly and often take time to consider and debate the potentially dangerous consequences of their actions. Humans are known for their strong moral compass and altruistic behavior. lol...its tough to say that with a straight face...yeah, people would misuse it. Heck, we discover atomic power and what do we do? We decide to use our new found power to make so many bombs that we could wipe out civilization and most life on earth. Unless civilization undergoes a major overhaul, humanity will almost certainly go extinct.

I don't know the right answer. But people will do some bad things with it. But also building a time machine will help us so much during the activities in day to day life.
I'll give an example. We can travel throught the time to the past and we can meet various scientists, poets and other famous people and talk with them. Also we will be able to see ancient things.
But building a time machine is just a dream. But if anyone can build one it will be awesome!

They'd more than misuse it. Once you can alter time, the very fabric of reality as we know it starts to break apart. Time travel might not be limited to large, telephone booth-sized machines; people might apply the same principles of physics to nanotechnology or even quantum particle states, effectively changing the nature of time completely. Life forms that exist in such a universe might base themselves on the shifting patterns of time, existing in all times rather than moving through time like we do, and communicating with their past and future incarnations to form a time-independent whole. It stretches the capabilities of the human mind to even think about such universes.

it could of already happened, because, if someone went back and changed something in the past, we wouldnt know about it, the timeline would just feel normal to all of us, but the people who messed with it would know that it was different.

so we would never know if someone was infact a time traveller, and if someone said they were, they be called insane and thrown in a mental institute.

if someone did build a time machine tho, and i knew about it, i'd build some kind of stealth/invisibility suit, so as i could enjoy the past, but without anybody knowing i was there.

also, technically, you may not be able to misuse it, as all sorts of paradoxes would kick in.

in a way we alredy have. if you had a telescope strong enough and you were looking at a planet 100 light years from earth you would see it as it was 100 years ago. so if an alien were 65 million light years away and looking at the earth today he would see dinosaurs walking around. so in that way you can actually travel into the past however you can't travel into the future because it has'nt happened yet

yep, but I don't think it will ever happen, because if it ever did, someone would have come back to this time and screwed it up by now.
