My labtop is about five years old and it's very used because it's the only computer that I ever use. I want to replace the keyboard because it's fading. Can I do that?

Replacement laptop keyboards are available if that is what you mean. As to whether you can do it yourself, it depends on your experience in repairing things.

Yes, but it is nontrivial. The keyboard assembly is a seperate unit, but you will have to dismantle half you laptop to get it out. Unless you are confortable doing such things, I wopuld recommend taking it to a shop.

If they keys are physically not working, then that will be difficult.
If its just the letter on the keyboard that are fading, then just get some new stickers.
