administrator access...I have no idea what the password is.
Is there any way around this issue?

You will probably want to reformat it and install Win XP anyway, but there are bootable linux CD's out there that can reset your administrator password.

If you have still have a copy of Windows on CD, you can reformat the hard disk and then reinstall Windows. Then you will have administrator rights and be able to load the programs you choose.

do what josh davis says.. If its too old for xp and you dont have a win98 disk you can buy them on ebay...
