I don't know but I think they should. An anchor baby is a child born in the US to immigrant parents. The baby being born a US citizen entitles the parents to free government aide that tax payers pay for. What ever happened to the parents raising the child? Now illegals can have kids so they can sponge off the US more???

To all of you psting so far, anchor baby is when two illegal citizens of the us have a baby while in the us. That baby is then considered a US cirtizen because he was technically born here. Therefore he is his parents "anchor" or way to stay in this country and obtain legalized citizenship for themselves just because their chil is now legal. they get rights to social security and everything just because of that. And to answer your question poster, as far as I know, no one has introduced any type of change to the legislation. But even if they had, Bush isn't going to do anythig in the end. Didn't you see him invite people from other countries to th white house? That will be something that people should make a petition to have changed soon as he is out of office.
