My best friend and I are miles apart in almost every way. Yet, we are always there for each other I really don't know why we became so close, but we did.

in my close knit group of four friends, we all have a couple of big things in common, but we all are unique. We are all from the same area, we have similar ethnic backgrounds (all have one Irish parent- even with one friend who is adopted from Korea) and we went to the same high school. Conversely, we all studied different things in college, work in very different fields, and have very different relationships with others. We all get along with our families differently. We have the common bonds that tie us, and the differences that keep us interested. It's a great group.

My friends all have distinct differences. I like it that way because each of them has something different to bring to the table. It's never boring with them. The only problem is, they don't necessarily like eachother. lol

i always thought 2 very similar person is able to bond and click better..

but surprisingly my best friend and i have totally distinct differences in hobbies, interests, values, attitudes, tastes etc..

so i guess its true to say that opposites attract ;))
