The nearest airport is Nizhny Novgorod Strigino airport. Lufthansa have a connecting flight to Frankfurt or you can get an internal flight from Moscow, Kaliningrad and Yerevan to there. The is a rail link and buses from Nizhny Novgorod to Vyksa. Rail is better as it is 115 mile journey!! Please bring me back some Russian vodka, the stuff I get over here is dishwater by comparison

Hey Georgina, this is a small town in Nizhniy Novgorod region . The closest airport definitely is Nizhniy Novgorod.
It's not that huge, but still international. I could suggest you to take a flight with Lufthansa. They have flights to N. Novgorod with connection in Frankfurt. The only inconvenience is their schedule. I hope that your Russian partners are gonna meet you at the airport.

If you have any other questions feel free to ask. I know that region pretty good. And Nizhniy Novgorod by the way third largest city in Russia.
