I'm not going to vote for my Senator because I don't think he has done a very good job in the last 5 years he's been my Senator.
I also will not vote for the other Senator when her time comes up because I don't agree with her beliefs.

So it is the democrats trying to sneak another amnesty bill through huh? You do know that without a 2/3 majority nothing will sneak through, and you wouldn't be worried about it if you didn't already know it was Bush's idea, because after all if it wasn't then he could just veto it.

To all Republicans - you can't hide the facts
To all Democrats - you can''t please everyone
To all Independents - Thank goodness there are those who still believe in democracy, free speech, and America as a country of individuals, and not a country of mindless robots....
I doubt if I vote for any Republican this time around - too many
lies
I will not vote for too many Democrats - they think all guns
should be banished
It's a shame that there really isn't one single politician worth
voting for

I don't vote based solely on a single wedge issue. I choose a candidate whose views I most likely agree with (or less likely to disagree with).
P.S. I hope all of you GOP supporters remember this little fact the next time you vote: Republicans, as well as Democrats, were sponsors of past immigration reform legislation (Two prominent Republicans that are pro-immigration happen to be running for President.)

None of my reps are one trick ponies. They are voting on many issues and they speak on many issues. I don't judge their performance based only on one issue. I have and continually tell them how I feel about amnesty and if enough people do the same thing they will listen. If not, well, they will not necessarily go the way I want. Democracy means compromise and majority rules. Sometimes we have to live with things we don't particularly like for the good of the entire nation. If what was thought to be good turns out to be not good we fix it.

You left out the Republicans. John McCain is a champion of amnesty for the invasion army that is bent on taking down the economy of America.

My Representatives know full well how I feel and I will vote according to how they vote.
This whole “un-documented worker” thing has really gone over the top… we don’t need a fence; we don’t need any new laws. All we need to do is enforce the laws we have now and hand down stiff penalties for hiring someone not qualifies to work in the U.S. I mean hard time… years in prison. It won’t take many prison cells before employers catch on and stop hiring them,

Its not a 1 issue vote how the right wingers want it to be...
Numbers USA wont show you the other side of the "amnesty" bill...the dream act allows those kids to join the military to earn their citizenship, and the pentagon approves of it.

I will not vote for him if he votes for amnesty but he will probably win anyway.
In the short term illegal immigrants pay into the Social Security system which is almost bankrupt.

They also provide recruits for the military.

But not all of them pay taxes.

In the long term Amnesty Will Cost U.S. Taxpayers at Least $2.6 Trillion.

Tancredo, Ron Paul, and Hunter have the most conservative voting records on immigration.
http://www.betterimmigration.com/candidates/2006/prez08_gop2.html
http://www.betterimmigration.com/candidates/2006/prez08_gop1.html
Of these three, Ron Paul has the best chance of winning the Primary election.
Paul's campaign has almost 4 times as much money to spend as Tancredo.

Ron Paul has stated that he wants very strong borders and he was appalled that our government had taken border guards off of our borders to send them to Iraq.
http://www.lewrockwell.com/orig8/haman3.html
This is his six point plan:
Physically secure our borders and coastlines. We must do whatever it takes to control entry into our country before we undertake complicated immigration reform proposals.
Enforce visa rules. Immigration officials must track visa holders and deport anyone who overstays their visa or otherwise violates U.S. law. This is especially important when we recall that a number of 9/11 terrorists had expired visas.
No amnesty. Estimates suggest that 10 to 20 million people are in our country illegally. That’s a lot of people to reward for breaking our laws.
No welfare for illegal aliens. Americans have welcomed immigrants who seek opportunity, work hard, and play by the rules. But taxpayers should not pay for illegal immigrants who use hospitals, clinics, schools, roads, and social services.
End birthright citizenship. As long as illegal immigrants know their children born here will be citizens, the incentive to enter the U.S. illegally will remain strong.
Pass true immigration reform. The current system is incoherent and unfair. But current reform proposals would allow up to 60 million more immigrants into our country, according to the Heritage Foundation. This is insanity. Legal immigrants from all countries should face the same rules and waiting periods.

The NAFTA Superhighway might be another significant threat to American borders.
