Arrhenius, in the late 1800's.

It was some guy during the last ice age.

He noticed that the ice was starting to melt, and when it didn't stop he realized that the air was getting warmer, and by gosh he was right, because it is still doing it.

But now somebody doesn't like it that it is still warming up, and they want it to get colder again.

I think it was a relative of Al Gore who noticed the warming first. It was right after he thought of the internet, but there were no computers yet.
