Do you like Emmerson Lee for a girls name??

I think that Emmerson and Lee both sound like boy names. I like the spelling Emerson and Leigh better. But I still wouldn't pick that name for my daughter. I would suggest going with a different name.

I like Emmerson Lee. It sounds cute but I think I'd go with Emma over Emmerson.

Lets see Emmerson, such as Emerson of Emerson Lake and Palmer.
Lee, as in Giddy lee of Rush.
Are you planning on her being a band or a groupie for very aged musicians when she's older?
You're really into classic rock aren't you?
That's how the name sounds. More like a guys name and someone who's a big fan of ELP and Rush.

Personally - I LOVE it. However, I think a lot of people will wonder if it's a boys name or a girls name. Maybe try giving her a more "girly" middle name. Emmerson Grace, Emmerson Rose, Emmerson Mae.....etc.

I agree that Emmerson Lee sounds like a boys name, but if you are set on that name, maybe you could call her Emmy Lee???

I like it. It's cute. Emmerson is becoming ever popular, though. If you don't want her in class with three Emmas and another Emmerson, you may want to pick something else. If that doesn't bother you, you should go with it. It is very cute!Good luck to you!
***ADD: I do like Emmerson Grace, though, like the answerer above me suggested. It makes Emmerson sound more feminine.

Emmerson sounds too masculine (I really dislike "son" endings for girls). But if you're set on this name, I prefer the spelling Emerson - the double "m" makes the name look so long.
Lee is a sweet, cute name...but paired with Emerson, it really does sound like a little boy's name.
