I am going to a wedding tonight. I'm wearing a blue sports coat, white shirt, and grey pants. I thought I had a pair of black shoes with me, but all I have is a pair of brown loafers. Is that bad to wear with the grey pants, or should I wear brown pants. Or should I get a pair of black shoes

yeah, i had to shoot home to my parents, for the wedding, and I thought there was a pair of black shoes here. I'll just head out and get a pair.

If you are out of town and didn't bring black shoes, all is forgiven and you can just wear the brown. If you don't own any black shoes, well...go out and buy a pair. Try to make sure your belt and shoes go together.
You will be okay, just remember you are never fully dressed without a smile :D

Nobody will string you up by your thumbs for wearing brown shoes, but since it's a wedding try to get some black ones with that outfit. A man needs a pair of black shoes in his wardrobe anyway, so they wont be wasted afterwards, lol.

No. Grey and brown are never a good combination. Grey pants - black shoes. That is a classic look.

You can either wear a blue sports coat, a white shirt, grey pants, a black belt, and black loafers. Or you can wear a blue sports coat, white shirt, a pair of khakis, a dark brown belt, and dark brown loafers. I personally think that the latter is the best choice. The combination of blue and khaki look good on just about every man. Good luck!

No, please don't, wear the brown shoes. Get a pair of black shoes or a pair of dark grey shoes, save yourself the embarrasment, you made a good decision by asking the question here. Have fun at the wedding.

Sounds a bit geekish if you wear brown shoes..get black!Or change your outfit!Brown and grey do not go...mind you with styles nowadays anything goes...

Black shoes, definitely. If you are out of town, just run to the nearest store, I'm pretty sure you could find one and just by some shoes on the fly.
