I had an cyst on my right ovary. I am now on BC. this passing monday I had started to feel really sharp pains in my back and sides. So I asked for an ultrasound. When I went the doctor she said that it was gone. She said it may have went away on it own. But I still feel pains. they are not severe to the point where i can't take it but more like aches of pain. In my sides and in my back. I also get this odd feeling pain in my stomach when I lay on my stomach. What do you think it could be? My last cyst ruptured and the pain was unbearable.

This could be related to something like endometriosis, but I would recommend asking her what she thinks are some other possibilities for this pain that you have to see what she says. To learn more about endometriosis please check out: http://www.endocenter.org

Ive had the same pain. I couldn't sit or stand for long periods of time (a half hour at the most) and walking was damn near impossible because of the pain. By the time I got to the the Dr. the pain was gone and the Dr. thought it was an ovarian cyst and when it ruptured that was causes all the pain, but now its been almost two years and I haven't had anything else wrong.
