Well, Life, because that's just life.
They smoke for the same reasons that husbands
smoke: boredom, nervousness, anxiety, addiction,
craving, having a nicotine fit, trying to fit in, thinking
it makes them look cool or sophisticated, upset,
stressed, loneliness, excitement, depression,
heart-broken, PMS-ing, happy, etc., etc., etc.,.

I'm a wife and I don't but I would assume some do because of stress or habit prior to marriage.

i smoke cause the kids drive me crazy all day so i have to have something to calm my nerves or i will strangle them! I only smoke cigarettes!
