PREDICTION MCCAIN WILL WIN

2007-09-14 03:57:26 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 1 3

Thompson - just announced, still popular. He'll likely dip once more people realize that while he plays a fantastic leader on both the big and small screens, his track record speaks volumes about his true feelings.

McCain - surge working, campaign revolves around the surge working. It's doubtful he will win, but I'd love to see him as Secretary of Defense in the new administration.

Giuliani - people are remembering that it was 9/11 that started all of this, and while he did a wonderful thing in showing leadership then, his name will be forever linked with the events of 9/11. People don't like the war, and with the 9/11 anniversary just a few days ago, and Petraus's report bringing fresh attention to the war and it's link with politics, it was bound to happen. He'll likely rebound when the newness of the Petraus report wanes.

Romney - he always dips when he's out raising money. He'll likely rebound in a few weeks.

I agree with dizney about Rudy, although I won't be voting for Fred.

Thompson gets a boost because he just came in, the real test is whether he can maintain it, McCain did well in the debate the other night so he got a boost, and Romney did poorly in the debate so he lost a few points. Giuliani likely lost a few points because with Thompson gaining he took some points away from Giuliani.

Thompson is well-known to be a sensible, experienced, straight-talking conservative, who can roll with the punches and work with the other side of the aisle.

Giuliani has never been the choice of most conservatives, but just who they would vote for as the "lesser of two evils", if he wins the Republican primary, against any of the liberal candidates.

From what I have seen and read:
Rudy opened his big mouth and stated that illegal is not a crime. Romney isn't being solid on his views.

Thompson FINALLY got in the race. McCain sounded stronger on the illegal alien disaster at the last debate.

I like Fred!

I happy Fred is finally in the race. I will probably vote for him!

I'm just glad Rudy is down. Anybody that thinks that illegals are not criminals are on the wrong side of the issue!

Who cares? Count up the votes when the Primaries start, then you will know who is the front runner.
