I trying to pick out which is better.. The depot shot?? I heard that it causes weight gain... But pills work well to especally with acne.. help

PILLS!
Do NOT get the depo shot, many women have serious health risks and side affects because of it.
Check out http://www.rateitall.com/t-330-birth-control-methods.aspx and google "depo provera lawsuit" before thinking about getting depo.
I was on depo for four years and had horrible side affects. I am now on Kariva (Pill) and have had NO side affects whatsoever.

I personally use the pill. It is better because it does help with acne and your periods are lighter and somewhat shorter. Also it reduces cramps. Also my friend had used the shot and she would just randomly bleed for a week then stop and then bleed again. Otherwise consult your doctor to see what is best for you.

Go on the pill, not the shot. I recently stopped taking the shot because it was starting to cause too many problems. I've been sick on and off lately and we think its because of the shot.
