Medicaid covers the cost of prenatal vitamins.

I dont think either one does. I was on Medicaid and since my pills were over the counter it wasnt covered. They are only like 4-5 bucks. My doctor told me I could purchase Flintstone vitamins because the prenatal vitamins made me too sick, So thats what I took my whole pregnancy and ended up with a 9 1/2 pound baby girl.

sure, it expenses to circulate to an OB yet you will get on Medicaid in case you qualify. Your OB could provide you a perscription for prenatal supplements and while you're on Medicaid it could pay for the perscription. If no longer then you definately can get them OTC and that they are approximately $7 for a huge bottle at Wal-mart. WIC is nutrients vouchers that the well being branch can provide you. once you're pregnant they can provide you issues like milk, cheese and cereal on it and then while your toddler is born you get vouchers for the formula. considering you're saying you have a well being care service, why are not they going to cover your OB visits? you maximum probably would not be waiting to get on Medicaid while you're lined some different way.

Medicaid will pay for it as long as it is a prescription prenatal.

Depending on the state, Medicaid usually does, but it has to be prescription strength, not something you could get over the counter

Yes. Some pharmacy's may ask for a $3 co pay though. At least in Ohio they're trying to start that.

If not, they're VERY inexpensive.

medicaid does. it will cover all your prescriptions and doctor visits, as well as the baby's when it is born.
wic only pays for milk, cheese, eggs, juice and beans till the baby is born, then it pays for formula
