As an ex butcher I learnt to swear in backslang.
Calling awkward customers in swear-words can be so much more gratifying can by using the real swear words.

I don't like bad language, especially gratuitous foul language, but I do use the word b*gger occasionally as, here in Yorkshire, it's really not considered offensive and, for example, to call someone a "silly b*gger" is almost an affectionate term!

It's not a swear word but my favourite insult, As your Scottish no translation needed for you, It's," Awa n' F*ck yursell, Ya baw bag". I think I just broke my spell checker with that one.

Any one who disagrees in swearing I say this; if you set say your arm on fire you wouldn't say 'ow my, please someone help me, my arm seems to have caught on fire and is starting to burn my skin, the pain is really quite strong...help' Now would you? you would say some thing that can put all that into one word, wouldn't you?!
