If Maddy's body was dumped at sea, all the evidence gathered so far may not be enough to mount a successful prosecution.

I pray that these murderers are brought to book but have a nasty feeling they'll get away with it.

I published this answer the day gone by Adam (you observed it) the recent investigating officer will choose to fulfill himself that each and every physique opportunities have been lined. Of the two innovations obtainable......... a million) Abduction, recreate achievable eventualities, interview all witnesses interior the Tapas bar and Mr. Murrat, an entire inspection of the premises to evaluate how an abductor ought to enter and depart with a baby, how a stranger ought to take the baby with none alarm being raised by ability of the baby. 2) An accident of a few form related to the mum and dad, returned interview all the witnesses interior the Tapas bar and re -interview the mum and dad. set up a time line for each subject. then and easily then can the 'new learn' start up. --------------------------------------... The police have not mentioned that they have not got a case, what they mentioned became, they want a extra suitable case. ultimately i'm going to declare this, if the solutions to McCann questions have been real and not inane feedback by ability of small minded, uneducated morons a perfect debate ought available by ability of all!!

From what has been reported, the evidence is weak. OJ Simpson had overwhelming evidence but the top notch lawyers managed to discredit all. Do you have a doubt that Kate (and probably an accomplice not Gerry) will get away with it? They're not going to Portugal anymore. Even if the trial proceeds in absence and she's found guilty, England does not extradite national citizens.

Did they have time to move her body before getting in touch with the police and where their friends aware of the timescale when Kate went to check on the children and when she raised the alarm that Maddy was missing, Gerry does seem to control Kate and I noticed on the website that his family is included but nothing about Kate. Also look at the family photo the twins are being held by their parents and Gerry and Kate seem to be together but no one is touching Maddy, might just be photo or good old body language

To say the mc canns are guilty is pure speculation, there is no proof. But what is more interesting is reading the answers given here. Judging by the amount of thumbs down given to people who seem to be the only ones with a shrewd of decency left in them, it clearly proves that most people in this country are sick in the head and secretly wish to see the Mc Canns guilty. If they find out that a mother killed her daughter, they will celebrate and be happy about it.

I guess it shows how much the english tabloids have contaminated the minds of the english people because the majority of them are sick. Or maybe they were already sick before and the tabloids have just capitalized on their lack of human compassion and ethics. I don't know. Just as I don't know what is more sad: to eventually find out that these parents could have killed their own daughter or to realize that the majority of the english people wish they had.

They can still be convicted even if the police doesn't find the body. It's more difficult but if they gather enough evidence that proves that they are guilty, then the McCanns won't stand a chance!

all the evidence thus far, does seem to point to them doing.. and there have been no mentions of any enemys who would set them up..... who had the car for the 25 days before the mccans got it?? and who did they give it to when they left portugal... without giving the keys back to budget??
was it all an accident.. did maddie eat thsleeping pills and die.. so they covered up!!.. did they give them to her to make her go sleep...... forever!!!!!! if it was them... they are the coolest cats on earth... not that killing is cool.. at all.... but .. if it wasn't then this must be a living hell for them.
all i know is that we should care about maddie and the other kids... they may be at risk !!!!!!!!

We the public 'think' we know all the facts but alas we only know what the newspapers tell us. The same newspapers that everyday ruin people's lives with lies and gossip...

You are entitled to your thoughts but to brand the parents with 'murder' is ridicuous and slanderous. You have no evidence to prove this and believe it or not they could be innocent.

Innocent until proven guilty- let the police do their work first.

I sincerely hope not.
I had a strange feeling about those people from the beginning. They just acted really strange to me. Disstressed parents enjoying so much their travelling around Europe and getting all the publicity. And the Portuguese Police really disappointed me, they didn't seem to know what they were doing. It's like if they didn't have any trained CSIs!

Found guilty, tried and convicted by the media and the internet but not by a court of law. What ever happened to innocent until PROVEN guilty?
