Proud to be Balkanian: biggest heart
Proud to be Mediterranean: deep blue everywhere
Proud to be European: culture and civilization
Deep in my heart I know my place and my feelings:
even if we move from our home our heart is with us, deep blue color of the see is following us and our culture is part of our life

Atelje, there are some things you can't teach - if the people feel they are of such pure race that it is not and cannot be mixed with any other - why bother? A little knowledge is far more dangerous than ignorance.
The Balkans are where we all are and where we have been for centuries. I am a Belgrade born Serbian which is in the Balkans which happens to go down to the Mediterranean and form part of Europe. I'm proud to be Serbian and a Slav. The other ethnic epithets don't figure largely in my life; I simply take them for granted. But to be a Serb, you must have a Slavic soul, and that's something that you are born with.

Greece is a Mediterranean and European country.
It's also in the south of the Balkan peninsula, but Greece has not got the characteristics of the Balkan countries. Maybe this is the reason that all these countries (except Serbia ) don't like Greece a lot .
I most feel Mediterranean, this is the "nature" of Greece.
But in my opinion the real European countries are the Mediterranean (Greece, Italy) because the history of Europe began from Greece and then from Italy (Rome). Not from Paris, not from London.

Mediterranean and Balkan, that's our history and culture. I can't understand why being Balkan doesn't make u European. But that's just one of all our complexes.

I am from Balkan which is part of Europe. And my heart is filled with love for my land - Serbia. I was born in country that was also in Mediterranean, but some people did not like it and now I am deprived of my Mediterranean roots: they wanted to change my legacy and my children's rights of being Mediterraneans also.
One correction:
Greece is Balkan country also and this is geographical term which nobody can change, it has nothing to do with politics or history: http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.peakbagger.com/map/r36.gif&imgrefurl=http://www.peakbagger.com/range.aspx%3Frid%3D36&h=289&w=289&sz=22&tbnid=V_Y6X17gSz57dM:&tbnh=115&tbnw=115&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dbalkan%2Bpeninsula%26um%3D1&start=1&sa=X&oi=images&ct=image&cd=1
