All LCD panels are equally sharp. You need to run the desktop resolution at the monitor's native resolution.


Which has better colour? Who knows. I do not see RGB colour points or colour gamut specs for either.

That $60 difference makes the Hanns-G attractive.

For the same price as the Dell I would go for the Samsung:

Brighter
Way better contrast ratio
Better viewing angle
Faster response time
Lower power
Dual input with a DVI-D connector + VGA

I suspect that the colours will be better on the Samsung than on the Dell or the Hanns-G
