and you you don't like them and they were gone on vacation for a week, would you let the house burn or call the fire dept.?

Yes, my neighbors are on vacation. No there house isn't on fire! This is just a question. No we do not care for each other due to control issues "long story"!
I was just walking into my house this morning and happened to look over at their house and the thought ran through my mind, what if the house was on fire? What would I do? So I was just seeing what your thoughts were! Would I let it burn? Would they let my house burn, or turn the other cheek like I think they would do???
Only a question people!

Call the fire department. Someone would have to do something really horrible to me before I'd let their house burn down.

I'd call the fire department...put yourself in your shoes. Everyone has feelings and everyone has sentimental things...like baby pictures, things that belonged to loved ones that have passed, and things of the sort that can't be replaced. So to let their house burn to the ground when it can be stopped is a pretty horrible thing, even if you can't stand them.

I'd call the fire department because I'd be afraid my house would catch on fire also! However, I would hope they would be so upset about the fire damage that they'd move! My neighbors are absolute jerks!

I'd let it burn to the ground .. Stupid little skank next to me waking me up every night at 3am fighting with some new guy ... Every morning I hear "why do you have to be such a whore?" from a different guy ...
Then theres the other one who basically stalks people .. I'd hope she was in it that way I wouldn't have to sneak out of my house any more to avoid her

I would let it burn, my neighbor is the lady from hell. If my kids balls or toys fall in her yard she won't give them back, she has called the bylaw office on me many, many times saying the kids make to much noise (they are only 3 and 1), called the cops on me and even took me to court. She is single and in her fifties with no kids. She is trying to get me to move. The cops told her if she calls them again they will charge her.

I call the fire department, then I will take the property and claim it was damaged by the fire and the firemen took it while I wasn't looking.

Yes, I would call regardless...fires aren't selective they burn one house and move on to the next...

I'm going to have to take the high road and call the fire department. Firs destroy everything and strip you of all your belongings and mementos. I would expect the same from others, even if they didn't like me personally.

I'd never let any ones house burn down no matter how much I disliked them. I'd call 911.
