I prefer liquid, but if you are eating say chili or hot sauce wet your shirt or whatever and put some powder detergent and rub a little then wash it as usual and the stain won't set.

I prefer liquid. I feel like I spilled the powder a bunch of times when I had it. The liquid is good too for pretreating stains.

Liquid. Why wait for the powder to disolve. Liquid disipates quickly. No residue either.

I prefer liquid, because powder has a habit of clumping and then getting into your clothes that way & staying there.

i prefer the liquid, the powder leaves these little balls of undissolved detergent in the clothes after washing
