I know, it's like it's now "in" to be a complete nob towards everyone and vandalise things.
Of course that's the generalisation but you see it too often in town on a Saturday.
The constant use of street language is annoying as well but then that's just me (and everyone else I know apart my somewhat chavvy cousin)...

Not all youngsters are part of the chav culture.
In fact the majority of them are not. Look at the ever increasing A-level results, the thousands of teenagers who go on gap years to africa and asia in the hope of helping people.
These are not the people shouting in the streets, stealing cars and drinking excesively. It is a minority giving the majority a bad name.

I know what you mean - what ever happened to good old British values? I especially hate it when girls where adidas track suit bottoms. It looks so wrong! We need a revolution! I think its to do with the fact that parents have less control over their kids. There are a lot of working parents out there who just do not spend quality time with their kids. If I was a parent, I would rather be poor and not work or work part time then deprive my children of attention and interest the so obviously need.

think of it in this way...every generation has there fads...there was mods and rockers
hippys
punks
to name but a few...all of these groups people frowned upon...one of the reasons that this look is so popular is because of brands such as lacoste and rockport...they are labels that are known to be pricey (maybe not what we would go for) but shows the sign of someones wealth...if your from a poorer upbringing this will show this...the same with "bling" the poor do it to make them feel like they have more...
