If they have failed to meet their terms of service or their service doesn't meet your needs (and wsa supposed to) then you can cancel their contract for their failing to meet it.

If they haven't you can pay their contract break fee.

Or you can just cancel it and argue the money. Depends how much they are going to lose by losing you, they may take you to court or damage your credit rating.

Finding a cheaper supplier or a better deal doesn't constitute grounds for cancelling a contract with no penalty - that's why they tie you to a minimum term contract after all!

Buy your way out if it's just you changed your mind (ie pay off till end of period, or they may have a smaller "penalty" you can pay.

If it's a problems with service, write to them, explain you are unhappy and do not believe they have fulfilled their side of the contract, therefore you wish to be released from the remainder of it as you no longer have confidence that they can provide the service they claimed to offer.
