I would defnitely recommend the Iberostar Paraiso Del Mar hotel in Riviera Maya, Mexico. It is about 30 minutes south of Cancun and 30 minutes North of Playa Del Carmen. Google the name and you can see what the resort offers. It is so large that they have a trolley that comes through every 15 minutes and drops you off at your destination.

The pool is one of the largest in that area if not the largest. It winds through allot of the resort, has a waterfall, jacuzzi, activity section, and relaxing parts of the pool.

For children, it has a "lucy's kids club" where they do activities and it is included in your price. Most people just leave a tip because the ladies are incredible with children.

They also have several activities throughout the day from pingpong turnaments, volleyball tournaments, archery, and several other. The stars friends employees do several fun games with the guests throughout the day.

The food is also phenominal with several restaurants to choose from and the general buffet. The rooms have refrigerators with drinks stocked daily and don't charge extra.

At night, there is entertainment. Every night that have something different. They start with a kids program where all the children can participate and meet other children. Then, they do an adult participation and then the main performance for the evening. All of their shows were great.

If you choose this resort, you won't be disappointed. I went their 2 years ago for 10 days. Last year I went for 2 weeks and got married at the resort. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. Also, it is close by to all the major excursions that you may be interested in.

I have stayed in the Moon Palace Resort in Cancun and I couldnt fault it, and there are lots of other Palace resorts around Cancun and you can use them all as part of the all inclusive deal so well worth a look.

Food was excellent, massive pools, great beaches....what more would you want?....

Iberostar properties are the top resort chains for families (www.iberostar.com) and a less expensive option would be the Riu Resorts (www.riu.com). Riu has properties in Cancun, Riviera Maya, Los Cabos & Puerto Vallarta, whereas Iberostar's are in Riviera Maya & Cozumel.

I went to an all inclusive resort, but for adults only. We stayed at Secret Capri. I know I did see some that children were welcome, don't remember the names.
Good luck and have fun.

I dont recommend first choice holiday villages, really bad and for the same money you can stay with Rui which are world class.
