Yeah but he won't win it even if he was playing this year. Durant will win it this year. One of the pure talents next year will win it. Oden doesn't have what it takes too win it and that is why he was a waste for a number one pick he will go down as one of the worst number one picks. The reason he is slow, he lacks the footwork, the finesse, the speed, the power, and the ability too guard anyone who's stronger then him. He's injury proned.

I keep in mind while Crosby became drafted by ability of the Pens in 2005 and hockey became on strike that season. Crosby did no longer even performed in that season so Crosby became evaluate a rookie while Overkin have been given drafted in 2006. Crosby rather could've gained rookie of the 300 and sixty 5 days in 2005 yet like I mentioned there wasn't no hockey season. So sure Oden remains a rookie and could qualify for it next season. In baseball, Kemp became evaluate a rookie final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days and he performed in 2006 yet he nonetheless became a rookie because of the fact he didnd't circulate over one hundred fifty plate apearance.
