I got my belly button pierced may 28 2007. About a month ago a guy hit me in the belly and it started bleeding really bad well i took the ring out and cleaned it and put it back in and it was all better. well today i was just sitting in class and i looked down and it was bleeding really bad again. Nobody hit me and or anything. Why is it bleeding? Its kinda hot in here because the air broke..can that be the reason?
Please help..i dont want to take it out because it cost so much and i think its cute. Please tell me whats wrong so i can fix it.

It couldnt have snared on my clothes because i wear my pants on my hips and i would have felt it. This is the third time it was happened today.

What ever the cuteness of the Pierced Belly Button.(BB) and what ever be the Cost... Your Health is of prime importance than Your Looks.
Once You are Hit at the place and got bleeding, it becomes the recurring pain when ever you again hit. You will have this cycle of hit-pain-bleeding as long as you are wearing that Cute Ring.
Real Target of Piercing the belly is not achieved like this, by wounding and torturing and inflicting pain on Body. Body is beautiful and one can make it more charming with shining on face, eyes, lips by other means too. Makeup and cosmetics are not the alternative.
World is talking about Woman's Liberation ,Woman's' Freedom and on the other hand woman is hypnotized such to behave in a way which is not a way of Liberated soul but dominated by some shoulds, Musts, Rituals of Aboriginal Tribes.
Look , how through the Cosmetic surgery a woman has to suffer. Look at the Piercing of BB and at nipple . there may be more piercing in other parts too. There are Tattooing all over.
Looking good attractive charming is one's right, duty and privilege but not at the cost of wounding Body.
Removal of the Rings at BB will be best for now and opt for better ways to enhance your charms through Eyes, Smiles, Voice.

LOL... Why would heat cause your belly button to bleed?!?!? Thats too funny-sounds like something I might say (I have anxiety attacks)!! You probably just moved wrong or it got stuck on your pants. You will be fine~wear loose clothing until its healed..good luck to you!

did it scab over after the first injury? could you have broken the scab or pulled the piercing on your pants?
