You people know who you are! The ones that when you see me approaching the cash machine in the High Street you rush towards it in front of me. Then you spend what seems an eternity rifling through your handbag and purse taking out card after card - how many accounts does one person need! Eventually you slowly press the buttons, before messing around with your various cards at the cash machine. And at last you vacate the machine as slowly as possible. You know who you are!

(I'm just back from the High Street, can you tell!)

I think that the only option one should have at a walk up ATM is to take out your damn $$$! Deposit your money inside the bank. If you don't want to do that because the "line is too long" GET FREAKING DIRECT DEPOSIT!!!!!!!

I'm not money hog but I do have lots of store cards that aren't debit cards.. Save On More, Safeway Points Card, Drug store Point Card. It take too long to list them all. I useto fish for my debit card in front of the debit machine. I don't do that any more. Once I was rushed so much I forgot to take the money out of bank machine.. a lady pushed me and then started at the machine. I told the bank and they said they can't replace the money.. however now the money is the first thing dispensed instead of the last thing at the BMO (Bank of Montreal! I usually just take the minumum out $20. Sometimes I just require $5.00 but one has to take out $20
that's annoying to me! I'm not slow at the machine but the no. are so small on some machines they look like dots. Some people are too impatient they are far worse that the slow pokes! What's the hurry?

.
I'm not one of these hogs, and I HATE these people! They use the machine like they've never seen one before in their lives. They have to read every instruction and then search for the buttons (Yes, the 1 still comes before the 2). And yet, knowing their own incompetence, (and how can they NOT know it?) they will jump in front of you like that cash machine is the only thing between them and certain death. There goes another 10 minutes of your life that you'll never get back.

Just as bad are the ones who appear to know what they're doing, but then the machine tells them that they are out of money, or don't have enough to make the withdrawal that they wanted. So then they stand there, IN FRONT OF THE FREAKIN' MACHINE and read the receipt and ruminate about it as if they had no idea in the world that they were that low on funds.

Where do these people come from, and why are they always in front of me (and, apparently, you)?

No I'm not, because I know how annoying it is so I'm always quick if there are ppl behind me. I hate it when ppl check millions of different accounts and don't bother to find their purse at the bottom of their bag until they're at the machine. Yesterday I was waiting behind a woman who had a kid with her, she used 2 diff cards and kept stopping to tell the kid not to swing on some rails, then when she was finally done she started to walk off and her kid stood in front of the machine looking at it for ages before she told it to move out of the way.

Yes very annoying people much the same as the people who look suprised they have to pay once they have packed thier bags at a checkout thus embarking on a mass shuffle about through bags for purse/wallet and fannying about for an eternity etc etc

NO, but those who do just exasperate you!

I just get my cash then go. Why can't everyone else just do that?

If you want anything else go into the bank and do it over the counter.

You can do lots of it online too.
