Ok, I know this might be a damn question, but I came across this name somewhere... however I am not really sure how to pronouce it or if there are other says of spelling it! I have been looking for baby names. My hubby & I are currently trying to concieve our 3rd. And have been talking about names for quite sometime!! So, my questions are... how would YOU pronounce this name, is there other ways spelling it and what middle name do you think would look and sound nice with it? I was think Rose or Jane. Both of my other 2 children have 2 middle names, they are named after family members we are not sure if we are going to give this one 2 middle names or not! Thank you for your help with this!

It's pronounced like BARREL.

I have seen it spelled Beryl. It is English, meaning semi-precious stone.

What about Beryl(e) Janelle Rose?
Beryl(e) Ann Rose?
Beryl(e) Anne Marie?
Beryl(e) Abigail Rose?
Beryl(e) Roseanne Jane?
Beryl(e) Jane Marie?

Good luck to you!

It's pronounced 'Bare-ill' Beryl is a kind of a crystal. Its quite an old fashioned name and was popular in my grandmothers day - maybe you could bring it back into fashion. How about Beryl Marie as a middle name?

Beryle - I'm not sure what pronounciation you're going for, but my first instinct was "barrel" (rhyming it with Cheryl or Darrell). If that's not how you're pronouncing it (and I hope you're not, because I really would hate for anyone to be named Barrel), then I'd suggest a different spelling.

I'm not sure how to pronounce it either. I think that it someone said the name to me I wouldn't be sure how to spell it either.

But, I do like the name -- and I like Rose as a middle name to go with it.

Sorry I think it's a horrible name. It is pronounced like barrel. Like the containers you store stuff in. Rhymes with Darrell. Ick. Not a pretty girl name.

It's as i thought, has to do with science. I wouldn't name my child that but it would be an interesting and unique. I'm eventually naming my first girl Seraphine. For a middle name try Mae, That was my sister's middle name.
