I worked with primates for two years...I know this is not an incredably long time but it was long enough for me to gather they do not make good pets.
I'm not sure what kind of monkey you are wanting to purchase but please do your research.....this is a complex animal with needs that are sometimes very hard to satisfy
I understand why you may think you want one, they are fun and fascinating creatures...but please think carefully about it before purchasing one.

its illegalto own a monkey in uk,you would be prosecuted if you did andthey would destroy the monkey,as it would have been illegally imported
