I am surprised at the decision of Rahul Dravid to resign at this stage. If at all he wanted to step down, he should have done so immediately after the World Cup. While no one knows the reason which prompted him to announce his retirement all of a sudden, I strongly feel that having sustained the storm for the debacle of Indian team in the World, he should have continued till atleast aftetr the series against Ausrralia and Pakistan.
