Only if it's the only way you can do it. You will end up paying a LOT more for it that way. Many of the online computer manufacturers offer financing. Like Dell, Toshiba, Compaq, HP, Gateway etc.

Right now Dell has desktops starting at $349.00.

Not if you intend to buy a computer at a near point in the future. Why waste money on rent when it can be used toward the purchase of your own PC?

Not a good deal. Basically you are just renting and very little money will go towards the down payment if you do buy.

Get the rates and do the math. Generally expect the cost of ownership to be double or possibly triple should you decide to purchase it at the end of the lease.
