Deleting which history? The internet browser history or computer history?

Anyway, a simple way to view your COMPUTER history:
Go to your C drive, your user (the one you log on to) and click "tools" at the toolbar menu.

It should drop out a list of stuff and click "Folder options".
Then, press view at the tabs on the window opened and click "Show hidden files and folders".

After that, you should see translucent folders under your user.
Then you go to "Local Settings" and double-click "history".

You should be able to find everything there unless he deleted it.

There is a free (probably only one) scan here.

Confirming your suspicions will not stop him from gambling. Calling him on it will only start an argument. You might want to try getting some help. You will probably have to start out alone, see how others handle it, and hopefully get some good suggestions. See if there is a Gamblers Anonymous in your area.

there are many places that windows stay history and temporary files..
but my suggestion is
document and setting in window's partition and you should find the temporary internet files in the current user folder.
you can find the last visited files there , you should make it empty before your husband want to use computer and then you can find visited files there ..
if your husband make it empty too , you should see the recyle bin and then use utility softwares such as norton utilities.
good luck
