"They used to blow up police stations and attack soldiers on the streets."

And...? Come on.. we all know it's true. Irgun loved to kill Palestinians. Arabs, if you will. Are you telling me that the terrorist organizations did not attack the Arabs?!?

Yes there were cases of Jewish terrorism a few years before the founding of the Jewish state.

The funny thing is that it made the situation worse and not better.

The British since the 1920's wanted to leave the area and partition something for a Jewish state.

All the terrorism did was sour British/Israeli when the state was founded.

What is shows is that terrorism, never helps to achieve your goals it only makes things worse.

Terrorism wasn't utilized at all. Terrorism exists primarily because fanatics are, by their very nature, mindlessly one-eyed and non-tolerant of other viewpoints or beliefs. Like a child, they throw a tantrum when they don't get things their way. And like a thug, they resort to mindless violence as a means to try to convey their stance or opinion.

And what do the lies that America and Britian told to gain support for the "War against terror" have to do with this "Jewish State" you talk about? Is there something I have missed here, or is this yet another incident of the time honoured tradition of Jews doing the whole "woe is me, I'm Jewish, everyone is out to get me" routine?

Life deals terrible blows to ALL cultures. Move on.

I don't know if it pressured the British any, but yes, there were terrorist groups operating there to undermine the British occupation of Palestine. They used to blow up police stations and attack soldiers on the streets.
