infection of uterous?

my daughter had c-section 14 days ago she has an infection in the uterous running fevers what could this be

Its a infection..I hope shes seeing her doc and taking meds for it

Same thing happened to me. They left a piece of placenta in her uterus. When she expells the left over portion she'll feel better.
