dont you love it when a communist says that the soviet union was not true communism, and that true communism never existed, but when it comes to america they think its really capitalist? another way to try and bail the soviet system out, and relieve communism of its evil past.
in america, there are so many welfare and government support programs, so many public hospitals, so many useless agencies, that you could easily call it a socialist nation with relatively low taxes. if an illegal can survive here, and get welfare, is that capitalist?
i see some people on here, like "ideogenetic" trying to promote a nanny-government, as if he cant survive in a competitive environment. maybe he is obsolete.

Communism is not evil.

Communism has never been tried in its pure form, but it would fail.

Capitalism is not evil.

The closests we've had to true capitalism is America in the 1920's. It failed miserably, eventually leading to the Depression, WWII, and the addition of many socialist ideas in America.

Communism has failed anytime time it has been "tried" for the same reason. All pure systems rely on people putting the good of the many ahead of themselves. Its just not going to happen on a large scale, so anything even based on the systems will ultimately fail as well. Every successful gov't/economy has been able to shift based on the needs of the country. England stayed strong after WWII by socializing nearly everything. Now theyre gaining strength by going capitalistic. Its all about world environment and social climate, not which one is right or wrong. In the end they all fail, but each one can be used successfully in cooperation with one another to create a system that does work and that evolves to survive and thrive.

I see no difference between socialism and communism. That is to say that in both, the government takes from those who do well and acheive and gives to those who don't. It promotes a feeling of despare and enslaves the masses to a life of poverty. Everyone becomes completely dependent upon the government for their everyday existence and they forget how to fend for themselves. Those left behind in New Orleans after Katrina blew through are a pirme example. They've become so incredibly dependent upon the socialist programs (welfare). Their government abandoned them (read: Mayor and then Governor).
Capitalism promotes growth. It's only true regulation is the law of supply and demand. It rewards those who do well and punishes those who do not.

Get rich quick schemes in the capitalist business world, (buyouts, IPOs, conglomerates, acquisitions, mergers, and the stock market), do not actually work. Remaining solvent does not actually exist within false economics capitalism.

Profit existing in the capitalist business world, or millionaires existing within capitalism, is pathological deception committed by the 21 organizations spying on the population with plain clothes agents, (with covert fake names and fake backgrounds).

Actual economics is the persons paying the monthly business loan payments of companies voting at work in order to control the property they are paying for.

Capitalism is the psychology of imaginary parents, false economics, and the criminal deception of employees that are paying the bills (including the stocks and bonds, or shares) of companies.

Anti-democracy republicanism is the psychology of imaginary parents and false government.

Communism only works on paper.

In reality you end up with hundreds of thousands of comrades starving to death (if they don't freeze to death first), while a tiny portion of the population is ridiculously rich.

Capitalism works because it allows everyone a level playing ground, and everyone has the same opportunity to succeed...

hahahahahaahhahahaa....
