In general I think that the Republican party is close minded. I also think that while they consider themselves fiscally responsible, they don't pay attention to the fact that we are in major debt (from a Republican president) with no way out of it in the foreseeable future. Aside from that, I really enjoy debating with them.

Their leaders in the House and Senate need to get their act together. They are showing no leadership and no clear course for either the Republican Party or what their goals are. One of the big reasons they lost in the last election. To be fair, the Democrats are not doing any better. All they did was complain and promise. Now all they do is complain. Pelousi has failed to live up to the hype and who is in charge of the Senate?

The firs thing that comes to mind is their pride.
You don't normally see a republican at a university layering their clothing and mashing severely clashing colors together in their attire.
It takes years, sometimes tenure, for many teachers to collectively realize how to actually (at least) appear to dress somewhat normal.

A lot of Repubs will be voting as Dems the next election..they are Americans like all voters...there extreme wackos on each side......it is apparent though the Repubs have lost the middle class...

If they didn't just think of profiting off of this war, if they didn't try and control me and push their beliefs down my throat, if they thought about how their actions affected other people, then maybe I would like them.

They create disastrous problems that they have no answer of getting out of. Then they scoff at Democrats for not giving them an answer to solve it for them.

They are human beings who belong to a political party. I am a conservative and favor Republicans who are conservative. Unfortunately they seem to lose their philosophies when they get elected.
I think the Dems are putting something in the water in Washington, DC.
